Generally we all are aware about computer, don't take computer as "COMPUTER" it is just a computer... if you are having any problem in your PC first you try your self to fix it. But keep in mind what you have done you should have all the tracks of what you have changed in your PC and if the last configuration is not working then just restore it to earlier. Windows has made such a easy to use OS even a child of age 5 can operate and troubleshoot.
